On Monday the 12th, in the week of March Break I taught a class at the Art Galley of Peterborough from 9am-12pm for ages 4-7 and from 1pm-4pm for ages 8-12. Art Circus: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the circus! Paint a clown face, decorate your tent with banners and patterns.  Let your imagination soar above the big top as you add a trapeze swinger or tightrope walker.

Windows under the Water

Tuesday March 13th I taught Windows under the Water. It was a half day camp which ran 9am-12pm for ages 4-7 and 1pm-4pm for ages 8-12.  Look at the shapes and colours of the beautiful underwater world.  Learn to create a stained glass effect with paper, glue, stencils and paint.  Create a light-catching 'stained glass' artwork to hang in your window and watch as the sun brings your seascape to life.

Nature Story

During March Break I gave a class called "Nature Story" (Wednesday March 14th).  Half day camps 9am-12pm for ages 4-7 and 1pm-4pm for ages 8-12.  Create a nature story and illustrate it by constructing your own 3D pop-up book!  Learn how to make plants grow and flowers bloom with the turn of a page.  Bugs will crawl and birds will fly away with your story!

Puppets!

I gave a workshop on puppet making at the Peterborough Public Library Thursday March 15th.  Elmo, Grover, Ernie,... Take inspiration from Jim Henson and make your very own character come alive on your arm.  Thick eyebrows, long braids, animal fur, big eyes, crazy colours...... it's your choice! Learn how to transform a recycled plastic container and some fabric into a magnificent puppet.

"Let's Play!"

I taught a March Break class at the Peterborough Museum & Archives Friday March 16th, it was called "Let's Play". Make a board game like Monopoly or get creative and come up with your own rules.  Use wood or board, dice and create your own playing pieces.  Challenge your senses with momory, smell, and sound guessing games.  Make a speedy spinner, ring toss, hoop ring, relay races and a fishing game.  Then bring them all home to play with your friends!
